Bisher hält sich Sony zu den Gerüchten rund um eine neue Playstation 4 NEO in einem Mantel des Schweigens. Kein Wort ist ihnen dabei zu entlocken, auch wenn schon die ersten Entwicklerstudios die Hardware preisgegeben haben.
Von offizieller Seite gab es rund um die „Gerüchte“ zu einem besseren Playstation 4 Modell nichts außer „no comment“ oder stillschweigend. Doch nun deutete der Sony Computer Entertainment Vizepräsident für Südeuropa Philippe Cardon das neue Modell an.
“PS4 has been developed to be compatible with VR, but within the life of a console research and development teams are still working on improvements. The current PS4 dates back multiple years. It’s normal to think of it’s update. However, I have no more information than that to provide.”
Diese Aussage kann man sich hinbiegen wie man gerne möchte, dazu müssen wir uns doch weiterhin in Geduld üben und abwarten. Mit der E3 und der Gamescom dürfte sich hoffentlich endlich etwas Licht in das Dunkle eröffnen.
